Kip

Kip was a San Francisco-based mental health startup founded in 2015 that connected users with qualified therapists and provided tools to track observations, feedback, and outcomes about their mental health journey through a combination of therapy and a mobile app. The company participated in Y Combinator (W16) and was backed by Slow Ventures, Refactor Capital, and Jumpstart. In February 2021, Kip was acquired by Modern Health (a $95M+ funded mental wellness platform serving 200+ enterprises), with co-founder and CEO Ti Zhao joining Modern Health's product development team to enhance outcome tracking and personalized care plans.
